Welcome to the official website of Liberty Balloon Flights! Embark on a remarkable adventure with us as we float over some of Australia’s most breathtaking regions – the Avon Valley near Perth in Western Australia, and Victoria’s Geelong/Bellarine, Melbourne City, and Yarra Valley.

Yes, we start early! Meeting times are as early as 4:30 a.m. in summer and around 6:30 a.m. in winter. Because we follow the sun, you’ll meet us about 1½ hours before sunrise at a convenient location (confirmed in advance). From there, we’ll drive you to the launch site in our vehicles.
Hot air balloons float with the wind, so we have several take-off sites, chosen each day according to conditions. We like to call the experience “audience participation” – if you’re willing, you can lend a hand with set-up, a tradition that connects you to the history of flight. It takes around 30 minutes to prepare these gentle giants before we rise smoothly into the sky. Passengers are often amazed at how peaceful it feels; and no, you don’t get height-sick!
Ballooning isn’t about adrenaline. It’s about slowing down, watching the sunrise stretch shadows across the landscape, listening as the countryside or city awakens, and simply admiring the world below. As one English passenger once told us, “balloons are one of the few things built by humankind that truly enhance nature.” We couldn’t agree more. Our aim is simple: that you love the morning you spend with us.
