Elevating Nature Through Flight
Every morning flight lifts us into the sky – but our respect for land and place keeps us grounded. At Liberty Balloon Flights, our connection to the landscapes we fly over is deeply felt. We believe that responsible tourism means giving back to the places, ecosystems, and communities that make our experiences possible.
We’re currently working toward a long-term commitment to support local biodiversity projects in each of our flight regions – Geelong/Bellarine, Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, and Western Australia’s Avon Valley. By partnering with grassroots conservation groups, we aim to contribute meaningfully to native habitat restoration, wildlife protection, and place-based sustainability.
Flying Forward, Giving Back Always
These partnerships will focus on supporting local knowledge and community action – whether that means helping fund seedlings, donating flight vouchers for fundraising, or joining planting days with our crew.
This initiative is not just about offsetting our footprint – it’s about giving back to Country in meaningful, place-based ways. We’re excited to share this journey as it unfolds, and we’ll be updating our community with progress over time – highlighting the people behind the projects, the lands being restored, and the species we’re helping to support.
As this program grows, we hope it becomes one more way that Liberty Balloon Flights helps preserve the magic of the landscapes we’re so privileged to fly above – for today’s travellers and future generations alike.
